Meet Beneath the Climbing Panda

Your licensed English-speaking guide meets the group at Taikoo Li IFS, right under Chengdu’s famous giant climbing-panda sculpture. Small group, max 14 travelers — keep your luggage with you, we leave straight for the pandas.

08:00 – 11:00

Panda Base, Ahead of the Crowds

A deep, unhurried visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding on our exclusive route — west gate in, south gate out — designed to dodge the crowds and catch the pandas at their liveliest morning feeding. Full English commentary throughout.

11:00 – 11:40

Lunch Break

Relax over lunch at a vetted restaurant beside the base (own expense). Your guide translates menus, recommends dishes and keeps everything moving.

11:40 – 13:30

One-Stop Transfer to Chengdu East

The coach swings back past IFS for a single convenient split, then carries tour members straight on to Chengdu East Railway Station — no dragging luggage across the city.

13:30 – 15:45

Guide-Assisted Check-In

Your guide handles station check-in and boarding with you, and coordinates the full handover with our local Jiuzhaigou team — you simply find your seats.

15:45 – 17:30

Bullet Train into the Mountains

Ride the new mountain railway from Chengdu East to Songpan, watching the Sichuan basin fold into alpine valleys. On arrival, a private coach takes you to your Jiuzhaigou hotel.

Evening — Optional

A Tibetan Night in the Highlands

Join a Tibetan family dinner — khata welcome ceremony, butter tea, yak specialties and a Guozhuang circle dance — or take in a spectacular Tibetan song-and-dance show (both optional, bookable with your guide).

Breakfast, Then the Gates

Breakfast at the hotel is on us, then the shuttle takes you the short hop to the park entrance — in line before the first wave of day-trippers.

08:00 – 16:20

The Essence Route, All Day

A full eight hours inside Jiuzhaigou National Park on the classic route: Shuzheng Valley with its stacked blue lakes, Rize Valley home to Five-Flower Lake and Pearl Shoal, and Zechawa Valley with Long Lake at the end of the line. Park shuttle buses link the valleys; boardwalks get you to the water.

Meet & Transfer

Gather at the designated meeting point by the park exit. Your coach departs for Songpan Station with the evening train in mind.

20:40 – 22:20

Sunset Ride Home

The bullet train carries you back across the mountains to Chengdu East. Arrive 22:20 — tour ends, cameras full. Safe travels!
