Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Beijing

  • Morning / Afternoon: No arranged sightseeing today. Your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to the hotel.
  • Evening: Free time to rest or take a gentle walk near the hotel.

Day 2: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City & Royal Gardens

  • Morning: Visit Tiananmen Square, the Monument to the People’s Heroes, the exterior area of the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall and the Forbidden City for an in-depth imperial history experience.
  • Afternoon: Continue to the Summer Palace and Jingshan Park for lake views, classical gardens and a panorama over old Beijing.
  • Evening: Free time.

Day 3: Mutianyu Great Wall & Old Beijing Hutongs

  • Morning: Travel to the Mutianyu Great Wall and take the cable car for a comfortable visit to one of the most scenic restored sections of the Wall.
  • Afternoon: Visit Prince Kung’s Mansion, then enjoy Shichahai with a boat ride or traditional rickshaw experience.
  • Evening: Free time.

Day 4: Free Time in Beijing & Flight to Zhangjiajie

  • Morning: Free time or self-guided shopping. Suggested areas include Wangfujing, Taikoo Li and Qianmen Avenue.
  • Afternoon: Fly from Beijing to Zhangjiajie. Your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to the hotel.
  • Evening: Free time. A self-guided visit to Zhangjiajie Seventy-two Strange Buildings night area is recommended.

Day 5: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park & Tianzi Mountain

  • Morning: Enter Zhangjiajie National Forest Park at Wulingyuan and ride the Bailong Elevator toward the pillar-like peaks.
  • Afternoon: Visit Yuanjiajie, famous for the landscapes that inspired the floating mountains in Avatar, then continue to Tianzi Mountain and Ten-mile Gallery.
  • Evening: Free time.

Day 6: Glass Bridge, Huangshi Village & Golden Whip Stream

  • Morning: Visit the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, a dramatic transparent bridge suspended above the canyon.
  • Afternoon: Continue to Huangshi Village and Golden Whip Stream, where forest trails, clear water and sandstone peaks show a softer side of Zhangjiajie.
  • Evening: Free time.

Day 7: Tianmen Mountain & Flight to Guangzhou

  • Morning / Afternoon: Take the Tianmen Mountain cableway, visit Tianmen Cave and walk the glass skywalk if weather and site conditions allow.
  • Evening: Fly from Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, scheduled around 19:05–20:50. Private transfer to the hotel after arrival.

Day 8: Lingnan Culture, Historic Streets & Pearl River Night Cruise

  • Morning: Explore Yongqing Fang and Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, two excellent introductions to Lingnan architecture and Cantonese heritage.
  • Afternoon: Visit Shamian Island, then continue to Beijing Road or Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street for local shopping and snacks.
  • Evening: Enjoy a Pearl River Night Cruise to see Guangzhou’s skyline from the water.

Day 9: Chimelong Safari Park & International Circus

  • Morning / Afternoon: Spend the day at Chimelong Safari Park, one of China’s best-known wildlife parks.
  • Evening: Watch the Chimelong International Circus, a high-energy performance combining acrobatics, staging and family-friendly entertainment.

Day 10: Flexible Guangzhou Discovery & Canton Tower

  • Morning / Afternoon: Enjoy flexible exploration in Guangzhou. You may discuss the day’s rhythm with your Trip Manager; vehicle and guide service are normally provided according to the final confirmed plan.
  • Evening: Visit Canton Tower, including the Bubble Tram / observation experience, for a final view over the city.

Day 11: Departure from Guangzhou

  • Morning / Afternoon: Check out and transfer to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport for your departure flight.
